Trump Indictment Arraignment Update

On April 4, 2023, after President Trump’s arraignment in a Manhattan courtroom, Nayib Bukele, the president of El Salvador tweeted, “Think what you want about former President Trump and the reasons he’s being indicted. But just imagine if this happened in any other country, where a government arrested the main opposition candidate. The United States ability to use “democracy” as foreign policy is gone.” On March 30 Bukele had tweeted, “Imagine if this happened to a leading opposition presidential candidate here in El Salvador. Sadly, it’ll be very hard for US Foreign Policy to use arguments such as “democracy” and “free and fair elections”, or try to condemn “political persecution” in other countries, from now on.” We agree with Bukele. There is no difference between this and third world election tampering. The United States is now officially a banana republic.

Let’s review the facts. If Donald Trump wasn’t challenging Corn Pop in the 2024 presidential election, would he have had these charges filed against him? Of course not. This was a political move, plain and simple. In fact, Politico predicts that Trump will be the Republican nominee, but because he has now been charged with crimes, he will lose the general election. The Biden White House believes that this indictment will strongly interfere with Trump’s ability to attract swing voters. Not only that, but Trump is scheduled to be back in court in New York right before the commencement of primary season, which is obviously not a coincidence. This is clearly election interference, and it is being brazenly committed on the largest scale in our nation’s history.

So what was 45 charged with? The indictment contained 34 separate crimes, but upon closer examination, it appears to be the same crime repeated 34 times, which is “falsifying business records in the first degree”. Trump is essentially accused of sending his own money to various people for various reasons, all of which were entirely legal, but not accounting for it correctly in his office records. But even if true, the statute of limitations has expired with respect to being able to charge Trump for this “crime” – which basically amounts to a misdemeanor bookkeeping charge. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg dragged Trump into court by claiming that Trump committed a felony by falsifying business records with intent to defraud or intent to conceal another more serious crime. So what crime is Bragg claiming that Trump actually committed? We don’t know, Bragg didn’t say. Weird. And Donald Trump has not been charged with a more serious crime. Even weirder. The indictment doesn’t specify the more serious violations of the law, which is unconstitutional. Bragg claims that Trump sent money to porn star Stormy Daniels in order to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential elections, and in doing this he tried to “defraud the voters”. If this were true, it is an actual crime – a campaign finance violation, which is a federal crime (and Bragg is a state District Attorney). But this isn’t true, no one is claiming that Trump did this, including the Federal Election Commission. Not to mention that the dates listed in the indictment are all in 2017, when Trump was already in the White House. So how would anything that happened during those dates constitute campaign finance interference when the election was already over? The case brought against Trump doesn’t actually make sense with respect to the law. But of course this is a political tactic, as well as an insult to the notion of fair elections, and an embarrassment to our country.

The White House propaganda machine, also known as almost every major news outlet, collectively, nearly simultaneously, and very similarly celebrated Trump’s arraignment as “protecting us from an assault on our democracy”. But what about attempting to prevent the leading candidate from the other party from running for president? Isn’t that an assault on our democracy? A democracy is a system in which the voters choose… Clearly it only works one way, and that is to benefit the corrupt party currently in power. This isn’t about justice, it’s about a deep hatred and an overwhelming fear of Donald Trump. It’s exactly like DJT said: they want to get him at any cost. It is a persecution, not an investigation. They’ve been at it for years and the most they can come up with is a misdemeanor bookkeeping charge he didn’t actually commit for which the statute of limitations has expired.

Trump’s team reported being happily surprised by the contents of the indictment, and stated that it wasn’t a bad thing to have the credibility of Michael Cohen as a star witness. They are taking serious issue with the fact that the indictment was leaked before it went public, which is a felony. Trump’s team wants to get the case before a judge soon and push for a dismissal. While the intent from this charade is to prevent Trump from running for president or to discourage people from voting for him, many think this will have the opposite effect. They can’t terrorize us away from supporting our candidate. We see how they can concoct false, nebulous charges – and we understand that they will do this to any American for any reason. People are waking up to the deep level of corruption in the deep state, and now more than ever they want Trump back.
